Trials and Temptations

 ²Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. ⁴Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ⁵If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. ⁶But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. ⁷That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; ⁸he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

 ⁹The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. ¹⁰But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. ¹¹For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.

 ¹²Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

 ¹³When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; ¹⁴but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. ¹⁵Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

 ¹⁶Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. ¹⁷Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. ¹⁸He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

James 1:2-18

Pray: Overcome trials and temptations with faith in Christ

• pray that we are able to face trials and temptations with joy. Trials in Christians' lives serve God's purpose of maturation and help us to grow up in grace. 
• We are in the midst of spiritual war since the day we committed to Him, we want to join this mission trip. Pray that we may prepare ourselves to conquer every obstacle until we reached the summit. Depend on God to help us overcome. do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
• Pray that we will believe in His sovereignty, we can overcome every trials & temptations, knowing that each one is divinely permitted and supernaturally orchestrated. God arranges these trials in such a way to motivate us.
• lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. satan tempts us to destroy us.God allows temptations to strengthen us. Pray and ask for His deliverance. Pray for everything that pulling us down - fear, painful memory, bad habits etc.
• pray that we are willing to rely on His power - His word, His blood and His spirit. Declare that we are children of God, focus on Jesus and live for His glory.
• pray that we may seek for wisdom, perseverance and hardship. pray that we will believe and let no doubts pull us down. pray that the holy spirit will dwell in us and lead us to overcome all these trials and temptations.
• pray for all of the mt warriors. intercede for each and everyone of us. pray that we are perfectly united in mind and thought as one. pray that we will be still and stand for righteousness.

When we are committed to live for His glory we are willing to endure all things for His sake. We are not ever going to quit. We are going to ENDURE all the way to the end, because we live for His glory now and we long to see Him in glory for ever and ever! Amen!!

1 John 1:3

Ephesians 2:19-22

Pray: Relationship within the body of Christ

• give thanks as we belong the a family - the family of God :CCF.
• pray that we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. let us encourage one another in this fellowship that we are able to grow in Him.
• pray that we have Jesus Christ as the centre, and do not focus on our own shortcomings, but the potential of our brothers and sisters.
• pray that we are able to know the essence of true fellowship which is the essence of belonging. The true value of the individual is not our own reputation but our willingness to give ourselves to the others.
• pray that we have less fear but more security, less immaturity but more growth, less criticism but more acceptances, less apathy but more joy, less divison but more unity.
• pray for united prayer movement and vision for transformation to meet the needs of the community in TK.
• pray for our relationship with the church that we are able to work together for the common goal of loving the land of TK.
• pray that we will be able to remember the needs of church as well as the community of TK without ulterior motives.
• pray that all restrictions imposed to be broken and we are filled with the fullness of God and to set godly example for the community and among ourselves.
• pray for ian tiong and his grandma. His grandma is admitted into hospital in serious condition. Pray for God's healing hand upon his grandma. pray for a miracle be done in this family and let God's name be glorify through this family.

Saturday Prayer List

  ⁶ Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. ⁷ With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

 ⁸ Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"

Pray: the commission.witnessing for Christ

• are we willing to be send and go for Christ for the sake of the call?
• pray to repent if we have not upheld truth and righteousness.
• confess and seek forgiveness for our indifference and failures in our lives. Before we can be used in God's great missionary enterprise, we must confess our sins to Holy God.
• pray for cleansing to be done on us and let God do wonders among us.when we confess our sins, God takes the initiatives in cleansing us.
• pray that we have no fear in serving God and we are ready to go forth in the fulfillment of God's will in people's life.
• pray that we are willing to be send and reach out to the people in TK boldly. We dun know who we will meet, yet believe that God will lead us to the right persons.
• set a target for ourselves.how many people we want to share gospel to? uphold ur target to God that we are able to witness for God by faith. 

Friday Prayer List

⁴⁷For this is what the Lord has commanded us: 
   " I have made you a light for the Gentiles, 
     that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth."

Pray: christians in TK

• willing to go down on our knees for the conversion of the people in TK.
• to live exemplary lives in our society and community and let God's light shine through us.
• the youth and younger generations will imbibe godly and kingdom values and reject worldly influence of moral an social decay.
• christian families to align their lives with godly values and principles and for family altar be established.
• raise up christian families to be a prayer force to change the destiny of families and nation and beyond.
• seek positive influence wherever they are- work,play,school or home.
• christians to be awakened and take up the role as watchmen over TK as well as the nation.
• to fulfill the great commission and creation mandate in order to develop a civilization and brings revival to the land of TK. 

Thursday Prayer List

¹³"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

 ¹⁴"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. ¹⁶In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

¹³ 你 們 是 世 上 的 鹽 。 鹽 若 失 了 味 ， 怎 能 叫 他 再 鹹 呢 ？ 以 後 無 用 ， 不 過 丟 在 外 面 ， 被 人 踐 踏 了 。

Matthew 5:13-16

Pray: Be the salt and light 

• Our Lord care for those who have been overlooked and cast aside. He is concerned about people with needs. Pray that when we open our hearts to those whom God cares, we encounter His presence in us.
• Pray that the people of TK will experience the change and blessings when we allow God to work through us in compassion.
• Pray that we are able to come together in unity and in action to care and bring about change and blessings to the land of TK. Pray that we are the shining light that can light up people's heart.
• People nowadays are distant and detached from religion and faith that they do not respond immediately to our witness. Pray that we are aware of their needs, be with them, understand them and help them to understand Jesus.
• intercede for every event that we have plan in this mt - kindergarten, motivation talk, movie screening, youth night, and sunday school. Pray for the PIC of the event, the flow and the people that will attend the events. We dont know who they are..but we pray that God will prepare and He will minister through all the events.
• pray that we are used by God to bring new life and hope to the land of TK. May we love others as He has loved us. 
• Jesus challenge us to "Go and do the same". Pray that we are willing to remove the selfishness and worldliness in ourselves, and may His spirit create a true passion in us for the welfare of the people He loved.

Fasting Prayer

here are the groups for breakfast fasting prayer..

wednesday : ahsong, *xiao bai, volunteer
thursday : *joseph, shuwan, volunteer
friday: *melody, joon keat, bro john
saturday: xue er jie, *hai liang, volunteer
sunday: chun ying, *ian tiong, volunteer

above are the groups assigned for fasting prayer..
volunteers are needed to be slot in as the third person in the group..
as we have limited people, so if u are touched by holy spirit to fast for that day, do drop ur comment in this post, stating ur name and which day u want..

those with * marks beside their name, will be the group leader that will lead the groups in prayer..
prayer items will be the flow of the day..more detail will be given..
