14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
14 你 們 是 世 上 的 光 。 城 造 在 山 上 是 不 能 隱 藏 的 。
15 人 點 燈 ， 不 放 在 斗 底 下 ， 是 放 在 燈 臺 上 ， 就 照 亮 一 家 的 人 。
16 你 們 的 光 也 當 這 樣 照 在 人 前 ， 叫 他 們 看 見 你 們 的 好 行 為 ， 便 將 榮 耀 歸 給 你 們 在 天 上 的 父 。
Matthew 5:13-16
Pray: Be the salt and light
- Our Lord care for those who have been overlooked and cast aside. He is concerned about people with needs. Pray that when we open our hearts to those whom God cares, we encounter His presence in us.
- Pray that the people of TK will experience the change and blessings when we allow God to work through us in compassion.
- Pray that we are able to come together in unity and in action to care and bring about change and blessings to the land of TK. Pray that we are the shining light that can light up people's heart.
- People nowadays are distant and detached from religion and faith that they do not respond immediately to our witness. Pray that we are aware of their needs, be with them, understand them and help them to understand Jesus.
- intercede for every event that we have plan in this mt - kindergarten, motivation talk, movie screening, youth night, and sunday school. Pray for the PIC of the event, the flow and the people that will attend the events. We dont know who they are..but we pray that God will prepare and He will minister through all the events.
- pray that we are used by God to bring new life and hope to the land of TK. May we love others as He has loved us.
- Jesus challenge us to "Go and do the same". Pray that we are willing to remove the selfishness and worldliness in ourselves, and may His spirit create a true passion in us for the welfare of the people He loved.
